As a Benefits and Payroll Coordinator, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to enhance the efficiency of our Finance and HR functions. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is a great opportunity to contribute to an innovative organization that values excellence and employee well-being.
What You’ll Do
In this dynamic support role, you’ll assist with key HR and payroll processes, helping ensure smooth and timely operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Benefits Coordination
Assist with day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), etc.).
Support employee inquiries by providing information or directing them to the appropriate resources.
Help maintain accurate benefits data and support compliance activities.
Payroll Support
Help prepare and process payroll by collecting, reviewing, and entering employee information.
Support payroll compliance by maintaining records and assisting with reporting needs.
Assist with employee payroll questions and direct them appropriately.
Onboarding Coordination
Support new hire onboarding by preparing documentation, organizing materials, and ensuring required forms are completed.
Coordinate with managers to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
Offboarding Assistance
Assist with the offboarding process, including final paperwork, system updates, and coordination of final pay and benefits steps.
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a passion for HR. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Required:
- 2–5 years of experience in payroll with a good understanding of benefits.
- Experience in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with payroll platforms like UKG, BambooHR, or WorkDay.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Preferred:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
- PHR or SHRM certification.
